Having been informed that you now have a good position and are likely in a position to gradually repay the 25 shillings I advanced, and as Mr. Lahr, your neighbour, is without employment, I request you to pay this money to him in weekly instalments, which you may agree upon between yourselves. I shall regard their – Mr. and Mrs. Lahr’s – receipt for the money as equivalent to my own.
