Dear Mohr,
‘Peasant War’ received with thanks.
Do be so good as to write a line at once, if not already done, to say how you are. Jenny has heard from Longuet that your leg is not as it should be and is very worried about it; she spoke yesterday of coming to you for that reason. The sea is clearly doing her good, the bathing agrees with her, the cough, as far as I can tell, is gone; unfortunately some sleeplessness is still present, against which I know no remedy except to advise her to catch some sleep after eating, which she has just done with success.
Altogether it would be good if you wrote to her more often; you know how very much she depends on you.
