I 30 April 58
Dear Mohr,

If you must travel, then travel to Manchester at least, that’s easy enough. Should the note sent to you yesterday have already disappeared, *ce qui serait bien possible*, let me know; for 21/- you can now get an 8-day First Class return ticket, and you naturally let the return part lapse afterwards. I shall see about getting a bed free in my house, which can certainly be managed for a few days. The rest will sort itself out. If you still have the travel money, then come at once; we’ll send your wife the sum you borrow from her straightaway; I just haven’t had time today to get a P.O. Order. || I shall let them know at my house this evening; come straight to N° 6 Thorncliffe Grove, Oxford Road. If you don’t leave tomorrow evening (c. 5 o’clock there is a train), then let me know Monday morning when you are coming, and I’ll fetch you from the station – but say whether by North Western or by Great Northern Railway.

If you want to come on Sunday, telegraph tomorrow – it costs 2/6 – 20 words, the address extra. The dispatch addressed to my lodgings.

Yours,
F.E. I]
