116 Nov. 1857
Dear Marx

Herewith the table forgotten yesterday. I just see that everything about Delhi
is in the Guardian today. I am now going home (6 o’clock) and will do my
utmost to read it through and get the article ready for you, however short; it
can go with the 2nd post; I think I shall be done with it before 12 o’clock.
There can be no thought of arrangement and stylising for this short notice.

Whether I can send you Cannon by Thursday under these circumstances
is very doubtful. Only 2 evenings remain, and I cannot write every evening
without getting dizzy in the head. So it will probably have to lie until this
day week.

Yours
