Now the secret is out why the Cologne case has once again not come up. The chief witness, the traitor Haupt from Hamburg, has namely absented himself to Brazil. Likewise the 2nd, more important witness, a journeyman tailor, has made himself scarce. Thus the government stands there, even without a semblance of proof. It takes its revenge, the infamous thing, by means of a prolonged preventive detention.
