25 April. 1865.
Dear Jung,

Monday evening (about 8 o’clock, or later if the hour is too early for you) I invite you to a meeting with Ernest Jones for a little supper at my house. Besides yourself, only Odger, Cremer and P. Fox. Had I wished to invite more guests, I would have had to invite too many for the purpose of this evening. This entre nous.

I have just written to Cremer to immediately issue the power of attorney for P. Vinçard, which Dupont must then forward to Vinçard at once. It would be best if Dupont could send the matter directly to Vinçard, without the detour via Fribourg.

Vinçard had already written to Lubez that he would not accept unless he received the powers directly from London. Lubez promised, in a letter to Fribourg, to communicate this to the “Central Council”, but did not do so. Later, I have reason to believe, Fribourg “forgot” the matter not unintentionally.

The rest of what has taken place in Paris (and which on the whole is good) I shall communicate to you orally; in the meantime instruct Dupont.

Salut et fraternité.
