the German version in the Neue Zeit, which has been shamefully 
mangled. Will reappear in its correct form in the May issue.* Kindly 
inform Schliiter so as to ensure that the mangled version is not made use 
of over there in the Volkszeitung, say, or elsewhere. In Germany things 
are going ahead merrily; the débacle has begun and little Willie> will 
doubtless make certain that it doesn’t come to a standstill again.
