Death Notice.
To distant relatives and friends we make the sorrowful announcement, with afflicted hearts, of the decease, on the 20th of August at 11 o’clock in the evening at Baden-Baden, of our beloved father and brother Franz Michael Nicolini.
On a business journey he was seized by a malignant bilious fever, and supervening vomiting of blood brought his active life to an end all too soon.
He died without pain and resigned to God, provided with the consolations of the Catholic religion, aged 52 years.
We ask that this irreparable loss be honoured by silent sympathy.
Cologne, 23 August 1848.
The children, brothers and brothers-in-law of the deceased.
