the Safety Committee has notified the local authorities that it has
set itself the task 1. of co-operating in the maintenance of tranquillity, 2.
of watching over the conquests of the revolution. Herr v. Wittgenstein has
communicated the notification he received in the original to the State Procurator
Hecker, with the official request to investigate whether
anything punishable was contained in this task of the Safety Committee!
Poor Mr. Hecker, overburdened with official business, who is now
expected to replace the faculty of judgement of the administrative officials as well!!!
