My dear Monsieur Sidoroff,

Here is the receipt for the English books that were sent off to you yesterday – my little bookseller does not tell me by what route, but I believe it will be by the Continental Parcels’ Express. If you have not received them within two days, please let me know.

Buckle – 3 vols. – costs 24s. in the cheapest edition, and as I do not doubt that you can find this book in Paris, I have not sent it. If, however, you do need it, you have only to tell me.

Williams has had your letter. You will have seen that he was reported dead, which made us laugh heartily.

Wróblewski and Cournet have arrived here. You will know that the daughters of W. are back.

Forgive me if I do not write more this evening; you know that I must leave around eight o’clock for a meeting, and it is nearly eight o’clock.

Yours,
F. Engels
