Dear Mohr,

Confusion worse confounded! Fresh telegram from home that my mother, on account of a slight indisposition, will also not be in Ostend tomorrow, and I shall not hear details until Thursday. As the Ostend business is thus becoming uncertain, I have decided to go to Ireland on Thursday evening, if nothing intervenes, with Tussy and Lizzie, and spend a 10–14 days there. The thing could only be altered by a letter which must arrive from my mother by Thursday at the latest, but I do not see, as circumstances stand, that this is in any way likely.

Best greetings,
Your
F. E.

More on Thursday.
Almost forgot the main thing: Encl. £10 banknote, of which 5 from Moore and 5 from me, contribution for the International. Send Moore his receipt direct to S. M., 25 Dover St, Oxford Road, Manchester.
