Dear Moor,

For your liver the most beneficial thing, above all, is a change of air, & a change of your accustomed way of life. So do the right thing immediately: get on the railway at once & come here for 8–14 days. I have made myself a fair amount of free time, & we shall be able to run about together a good deal. Then you can also get yourself examined & treated by Gumpert & at the same time, with regard to your “condition”, decline invitations to “tea”. In a short while you will be fresh again & fit for work, & will then be able to get more work done together in a few weeks than in months in this state. So telegraph me tomorrow at the Warehouse which train you are coming by & be here that evening. That is the simplest thing & will cure you for sure.

Your F. E.
