Mchr 17 March 1868. Dear Mohr, Last evening the cashier ran off before I had asked him for the five pounds for your gas &c, and I couldn’t get a note pumped anywhere either – it is now enclosed, and I hope this delay has caused you no serious unpleasantness. Further money will follow in a few days, as soon as I can see a little clearer in my own affairs. Has L afargue then set up a house &c? He can’t take his wife into his lodgings, can he? I am sending you the sheets and the Dühring; I forgot to take the stuff with me this morning. In haste. Yours, F. E.
