As the four undersigned members of the former Social-Democratic Committee declared their resignation from the Committee upon rendering this account, the Society in Great Windmill Street appointed a commission to examine the books and receipts, which on the 15th inst. rendered its report to the effect that it had found everything in order.

The undersigned considered it necessary to leave all books and receipts relating to their administration with the former cashier, C. Pfänder, 21, King Street, Soho Square, since they have withdrawn not only from the Committee but also from the Society and cannot do without these documents in the event of any claims from the public.

The senders of money are therefore requested to appoint agents in London to inspect the books and receipts in the keeping of the said former cashier.
