[The "Neue Preußische Zeitung" on the 18th of March]

["Neue Rheinische Zeitung" No. 249, March 18, 1849, Second Edition]

*
Cologne, March 8. The organ of Frederick William IV, the "N[eue] Pr[eußische] Z[eitung]", writes on the occasion of March 18, 1849:

"Woe twice over, however, to the people that celebrates its revolution with festivities; to sin is human, but to seek honour in sin and celebrate its crime is devilish."

The same paper, in the feuilleton of the same issue, calls the struggle of March 18 and 19 a "_bloody farce!_". That is the worthy reward "to my people" for having made a _half_ revolution.

The paper further reports that Wrangel went "_to inspect_" the Friedrichshain a few days ago.

We shall wait and see what Herr Wrangel will "_inspect_" on March 18, 1850.
