Cologne, 15 May. The Prussian gallows-sheet does us the special pleasure of compiling from the "N[eue] Rh[einische] Z[ei]t[un]g" an anthology of unpatriotic expressions about the "imperial Russian sub-knave of Olmütz" and the "Prussian bug-knighthood" <See "[Posen]" and "The Tsar and His Sub-Knaves">. The selection is confined to a Breslau correspondence and is accompanied at the end by the following outburst of indignation by the quietly frivolous crusaders:

"How feeble against this Chimborazo impudence is the marriage announcement of the King of Prussia in the French 'Moniteur' of 1793: 'Le jeune tyran de Prusse vient d'épouser une demoiselle de Mecklenbourg' <'The young tyrant of Prussia recently married a Miss [Luise] of Mecklenburg'>."

To complete the history of the "Chimborazo impudence" of the "N[eue] Rh[einische] Z[ei]t[un]g" as fully as possible, we request the gallows-sheet also kindly to reprint the Premier-Cologne <Cologne leading article> in No. 294 of our paper on the "Deeds of the House of Hohenzollern". As we hear, Frau von Hohenzollern is an avid reader of the gallows-sheet, and we are not so entirely "exclusive" as to begrudge the worthy lady, for her diversion, a few historical studies on the family of her consort.
