Cologne, May 1. Deputies who arrived here yesterday from Berlin relate that in Dresden, too, the Chambers have been dissolved.

Hanover, Berlin, Dresden — in Munich they have merely adjourned so far — honest German burgher, do you now see how they intend to play upon you?

Last year, when the Frankfurt Assembly was convoked, Prussia ordered the robber states to convoke all Chambers. Now, exactly one year later, Prussia orders all Chambers to be dissolved. Then Camphausen, now Manteuffel. Both times the same aim, the same intention. Camphausen and Manteuffel go arm in arm despite all their fine phrases.

And there are still people in Germany who defend the princes!
