Subscriptions to the “Neue Rheinische Zeitung” for the Next Quarter,
No. 172, 19 December 1848
Neue Rheinische Zeitung.
January to March 1849, should be arranged as soon as possible, in Cologne at
the paper’s expedition office (unter Hutmacher No. 17), elsewhere at
all post offices in Germany.
For France subscriptions are taken by M. G. A. Alexandre,
28 Brandgasse, Strasbourg, and 23 rue Notre Dame de Nazareth, Paris, as well as the royal chief post office in Aachen; for England
by Messrs. J. J. Ewer & Comp., 72, Newgate Street, London; for Belgium
and Holland by the respective royal letter-post offices and the post bureau in
Liège.
Through the abolition of the stamp the subscription price is reduced
and henceforth amounts, for Cologne, to only 1 thaler 7 silver groschen 6 pfennigs; at
all Prussian post offices (postage included) only 1 thaler 17 silver groschen
per quarter; for subscribers in the rest of Germany a proportionate postal surcharge is added.
The editorial board remains unchanged.
The issues of the “Neue Rheinische
Zeitung” published to date are its programme. Through its personal connections with the leaders of the democratic party in
England, France, Italy, Belgium and North America
the editorial board is enabled to reflect the political-social movement abroad more accurately and clearly for its readers than any other paper. In this respect the “N. Rh. Ztg.”
is not merely the organ of German,
but of European democracy.
Advertisements: The four-column petit line or its equivalent space 1 silver groschen 6 pfennigs.
Announcements of every kind attain a very wide circulation through the extensive connections of our
paper.
The guarantee of the “Neue Rheinische Zeitung”.
