executive Federal Council. The following were elected:
As President: Mayor Furrer, of Zurich;
As Vice-President: State Councillor Druey, of Vaud;
As Members: Colonel Ochsenbein, of Berne;
Colonel Franscini, of Ticino;
Mr. Munzinger, of Solothurn;
Mr. Näff, of St. Gallen;
Mr. Steiger, of Lucerne.
The moderate party, enjoying a great preponderance in both chambers, has
accordingly carried through all its candidates in the face of the radical candidates:
Eytel, Stämpfli, Luvini, etc.
