Make some changes.
No more “stationing” [at specific locations]. Neither the military nor local authorities should engage in such practices.
Especially in Beijing:
I have not visited a single place in Beijing.
Do not speak impulsively.
Don’t interfere.
Focus on the overall situation.
Do not call me.
Do not come to see me.
If there is something important, write a letter.

This remark was directed at Jiang Qing’s actions at the time, when she had been visiting various grassroots units in Beijing and elsewhere in her personal capacity to disrupt work below, form cliques for personal gain, and promote fabricated model examples.
