Dedicated to Ms. Anna Louise Strong, a friend of the Chinese people and a progressive
American writer.

[1] Strong, also known as Anna Louise Strong, was an American progressive writer and
journalist who visited China several times starting in 1925. During her fifth visit in 1946, she
visited Yan'an and other liberated areas. During a meeting with her, Mao Zedong coined the
famous statement, "All reactionaries are paper tigers." She settled in China in 1958 and died
in 1970.
