2. Articles should be between one thousand and two thousand words—shorter is better—and focus on a single issue. Once that issue is clearly explained, there is no need to go any further. They should not exceed three thousand words, as longer pieces are unlikely to be read, and even if they are, readers will find it difficult to retain the key points.

3. The “tool theory” must be criticized, but proletarian discipline remains essential. Both obedience and unity are conditional.

4. Surely we cannot overthrow all trusts? Old terms can be given new meaning; the primary task is to criticize their adherence to the capitalist road.
