Comment on the Situation Bulletin [1]

To the Central Cultural Revolution Group:

This matter should be dealt with. About ten persons from each side may be called to Beijing for discussions. Gan Weihan [2] of the Chengdu Military Region should also come. Request Comrade Premier [3] to consider and handle it as he sees fit.

[1] Refers to Issue No. 435 of the *Cultural Revolution Bulletin*, compiled and printed on 26 March 1967 by the Office of the Central Cultural Revolution Group of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, titled "Large Numbers of the Revolutionary Faction in Yibin, Sichuan Are Imprisoned, the Struggle Is Extremely Arduous." The bulletin published excerpts from a letter dated 14 March from Tian He of Yibin County, Sichuan Province, reflecting the situation of the "Great Cultural Revolution" in Yibin.
