1. Help them study and apply Chairman Mao's works creatively in the course of struggle.
2. Help them grasp living ideas, do a good job in unity and education work, and make them a unified and combat-effective collective in thinking.
3. Help them maintain a clear head and adhere to the general direction of the struggle. The Party Committee of the Railway Corps pointed out in its endorsement of this report that the PLA's support for the revolutionary Leftists must first be political support, which is a correct method.
On March 8, the Central Committee of the CPC forwarded the experience of the Dukou garrison troops and the endorsement of the Railway Corps Party Committee to all military region party committees and party committees at all levels, and pointed out: "The Joint Command of the Garrison Troops Supporting the Left in Dukou has raised an important issue of universal significance and has created very good experience"; "It is worthy of study by the entire nation and the entire army. All military region party committees and party committees at all levels should refer to and implement it."

[1] Lin Biao was then Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the CPC Central Committee, and was re-elected as a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee at the 11th Plenary Session of the 8th CPC Central Committee, and was soon referred to as Vice Chairman of the Central Committee. Enlai refers to Zhou Enlai.
[2] Refers to the experience report forwarded on March 4, 1967, by the Party Committee of the Railway Corps of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, from the Joint Command of the Garrison Troops Supporting the Left in Dukou, Sichuan, on "The Primary Importance Is to Support the Leftists Politically and Ideologically." The report stated that after the troops supporting the Left, mainly composed of the Fifth Railway Division, arrived in Dukou, they based their work of supporting the Leftists on investigation and research, and made efforts to identify the genuine Leftists in the midst of mass struggles.
