The practice of dispatching military cadres to train revolutionary teachers and students is highly effective. There is a world of difference between providing such training and failing to do so. Through this approach, participants can learn from the People’s Liberation Army—politically, militarily, and in terms of the “Four Firsts,” the “Three Eighths” work style, and the Three Main Rules of Discipline and Eight Points of Attention—thereby strengthening their organizational discipline. The experience of Beijing-based units in sending cadres to conduct this type of training has proven very successful and should be replicated nationwide.
