Letter to Hua Luogeng [1] (July 21, 1965) Comrade Hua Luogeng: Your letter and the pamphlet “Plain Talk” [2] were received some time ago while I was out of town.
It is most welcome that you are now working with great vigor and dedication, not for personal gain but in service to the people.
I have heard that your inspection tour and lecture series in the Southwest yielded rich results, which gives me great pleasure.
With this, I reply.
Respectfully wishing you continued success in your teaching and research.
