[1] This comment was written on a letter sent to Mao Zedong on 24 February 1965 by Kang Sheng, Secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and Deputy Head of the Central Cultural and Education Group, submitting the publisher’s note for Volume Three of *Khrushchev’s Speeches* for review. The letter stated that if this document was deemed usable, it was planned to be broadcast on the night of the 25th and published in the newspapers on the 26th. The publisher’s note pointed out that before Khrushchev’s fall from power, we had published Volumes One and Two of *Khrushchev’s Speeches*, which collected Khrushchev’s speeches from 1932 to 1953. From now on, according to our predetermined plan, we will successively publish in their entirety all of Khrushchev’s public speeches from after he assumed the post of First Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee until his fall from power in October 1964. The publication of *Khrushchev’s Speeches* will enable people to see what Khrushchev revisionism is and the history of the development and bankruptcy of Khrushchev revisionism. At the same time, Khrushchev’s speeches can also serve as a mirror to distinguish what is Khrushchevism without Khrushchev, so as to carry the struggle against Khrushchev revisionism through to the end. This publisher’s note was published in *Renmin Ribao* on 26 February 1965.
