II

The imperialists and reactionaries are extremely hostile to the friendship and unity of the Chinese and Soviet peoples. The utterly vicious U.S. imperialists and their running dogs regard the unity of China and the Soviet Union, the unity of the socialist camp, and the unity of the revolutionary people of the whole world as the greatest obstacle to their conquest of the world. For this reason, U.S. imperialism tries by a thousand and one ways to split the unity of China and the Soviet Union, the unity of the socialist camp, and the unity of the revolutionary people of the whole world, so as to defeat them one by one.

Published according to the document revised by Mao Zedong.
