Letter Regarding the Compilation of a Collection of Poems for Tian JiaYing [I]
(December 5th and 6th, 1963)
Comrade Tian JiaYing:
The poem “Wind and Rain over Zhongshan Mountain” [2] seems suitable for inclusion in the collection [3]. Please discuss it at the meeting and make a final decision.
The ci poem “The Tiny Globe” [4] also appears eligible for inclusion. I would appreciate your colleagues’ opinions on this matter as well.
As for the remaining anti-revisionist poems and ci pieces, with the exception of a few that may be included, publication should be postponed for the time being.
“The Ode to the Eight Company” [5] should be printed separately and circulated internally; it should not be included in the collection.
