Telegram for the 42nd Anniversary
(10 July 1963)

Comrade Yu. Tsedenbal, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Mongolian People's Republic,
Comrade J. Sambuu, Chairman of the Presidium of the Great People's Khural of the Mongolian People's Republic:

On the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the Mongolian People's Revolution, we, on behalf of the Chinese people, the Chinese Communist Party, and the Chinese Government, extend warm congratulations to the Mongolian people, the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party, and the Government of the Mongolian People's Republic. We wish the Mongolian people, under the leadership of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and the Government of the Mongolian People's Republic, new achievements in socialist construction.

In recent years, the mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Mongolia in the economic, cultural, scientific, and technical fields has made considerable progress. In 1962, the Governments of China and Mongolia, in a spirit of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, and mutual understanding and mutual accommodation, smoothly signed the boundary treaty between the two countries, making a contribution to the strengthening of the friendly relations between our two countries. The Chinese people will, as always, on the basis of Marxism-Leninism and proletarian internationalism, and on the basis of the revolutionary principles of the 1957 Declaration and the 1960 Statement, work together with the Mongolian people to unremittingly strengthen the friendship and unity of the peoples of China and Mongolia and of all the countries of the socialist camp, and to strive together for new victories in the struggle for world peace, national independence, people's democracy, and socialism.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party
Liu Shaoqi

Zhu De
Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China
