Three New Components and Three Constituent Tiers of Marxism [1]

Marx himself was not born a Marxist. He was originally an idealist, accepting idealism, and later accepted the doctrines of the Young Hegelians and the materialist Feuerbach. The practice of class struggle enabled him, together with Engels, to create Marxism and to transform the entire bourgeois sociology. Through the revolution in philosophy, the revolution in economics, and the revolution in sociology, the doctrine of class struggle was formed. The core of Marxism is precisely the doctrine of class struggle. Class society is a society in which man oppresses man and man exploits man. To interpret history from this viewpoint turns it into the history of class struggle, which is historical materialism. In the old society, the legacy of the old society was accepted and transformed, turning idealist dialectics into materialist dialectics, metaphysical materialism into dialectical materialism, and the idealist conception of history into the materialist dialectical conception of history. The same applies to economics: bourgeois classical economics was transformed into Marxist political economy. The same applies to socialism: the positive content of utopian socialism, such as the utopian socialism of France and Britain, was accepted and transformed into the doctrine of class struggle, that is, using class struggle as the means to carry out proletarian revolution and proletarian
