A Letter to Liu Shaoqi and Others
(December 25, 1962)
Shaoqi, Enlai, Xiaoping[2] Comrades:
I would like to invite Comrades Liu Xiao, Wu Xiuquan, Zhao Yimin, and Liao Chengzhi[3] to come to Hangzhou for a discussion, to hear the information and views they possess. They may travel south at a leisurely pace, conducting some investigations and research along the way (Tianjin, Jinan, Hefei, Nanjing, Shanghai), and arrive in Hangzhou by the beginning of the new year (before January 6th). If you and the four of them all agree, please proceed accordingly.
