Sambu, Chairman of the Presidium of the Great People’s Khural of the Mongolian People’s Republic:  On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the signing of the Sino-Mongolian Agreement on Economic and Cultural Cooperation, on behalf of the Communist Party of China, the Government of the People’s Republic of China, and the Chinese people, we hereby extend our warmest congratulations to you and, through you, to the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party, the Government of the Mongolian People’s Republic, and the Mongolian people.
The conclusion of the Sino-Mongolian Agreement on Economic and Cultural Cooperation has played an important role in advancing the development of friendly cooperative relations between our two countries and in jointly boosting their economic and cultural construction.
It is entirely in line with the fundamental interests of the peoples of both countries and also contributes to strengthening the unity of the socialist camp and safeguarding world peace.
We are confident that, as the socialist construction endeavors of China and Mongolia continue to make progress, our relations of equality, mutual benefit, and friendship will be further consolidated and reinforced.
We wish the Mongolian people new achievements in the cause of building socialism.
