Comrade Ion Gheorghe Maurer, President of the Council of Ministers of the Romanian People’s Republic:

On the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the liberation of Romania, we extend warm congratulations, on behalf of the Chinese people, the Chinese Communist Party, and the Government of the People’s Republic of China, to the Romanian people, the Romanian Workers’ Party, and the Government of the Romanian People’s Republic.

Under the leadership of the Romanian Workers’ Party and the Government of the Romanian People’s Republic, the fraternal Romanian people have achieved tremendous successes in socialist construction and have made unremitting efforts in opposing the imperialist policies of aggression and war and in safeguarding world peace. The Chinese people feel heartfelt joy for this.
