On the occasion of the 41st anniversary of the Mongolian People's Revolution, we, on behalf of the Chinese people, the Chinese Communist Party, and the Government of the People's Republic of China, extend to you, and through you to the Mongolian people, the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party, and the Government of the Mongolian People's Republic, our warm, fraternal congratulations.

Under the leadership of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and the Government of the Mongolian People's Republic, the Mongolian people have made unremitting efforts and achieved great successes in building socialism and in safeguarding peace in Asia and the world.

The Chinese people feel heartfelt joy at every achievement made by their fraternal Mongolian people.

[1] This is a telegram from Mao Zedong, in the name of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, jointly with Liu Shaoqi, Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Zhu De, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and Zhou Enlai, Premier of the State Council, addressed to Yu. Tsedenbal, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Mongolian People's Republic, and J. Sambuu, Chairman of the Presidium of the Great People's Hural of the Mongolian People's Republic, congratulating the 41st anniversary of the Mongolian People's Revolution. In 1921, with the aid of the Soviet Red Army, the Mongolian people liberated Kuren (Urga) on 8 July, routed the White Guard forces of Ungern, and achieved victory in the revolution. On 11 July, the People's Revolutionary Government was formally established in Kuren.

China and Mongolia are fraternal neighbours. In the revolutionary struggle and in the work of socialist construction, the peoples of our two countries have always sympathised with and supported each other. We are deeply convinced that the friendship between the Chinese and Mongolian peoples will daily grow stronger and develop further. May the fraternal friendship between the Chinese and Mongolian peoples endure forever!
