Letter to Peng Zhen [1]

Comrade Peng Zhen:
I have now decided to stay in Wuhan until the end of the month. Swimming in the Yangtze River is very beneficial to me, and I intend to swim for seven to ten days. Afterwards, I will return directly to Beijing. Therefore, both the Pakistani ambassador and the Kabo delegation will hold talks in Wuchang.

[2] The Pakistani ambassador to China was Bilal Ali Muhammad Rashidi; Mao Zedong met with him in Beijing on July 15, 1962. The Kabo delegation refers to the Albanian Party of Labour delegation led by Hysni Kapo, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Albanian Party of Labour. Mao Zedong met with them at the East Lake Guest House in Wuhan on June 29, 1962.
