Preface I to “Six Poems”
(April 1962)
These six poems, due to the passage of many years, had been completely forgotten. The editorial department of People’s Literature collected them and asked to publish them, so I obliged. Thinking back, these poems were hummed on horseback between 1929 and 1931. Though lacking in literary grace, they do reflect the buoyant mood of the masses and revolutionary fighters of that time, and are acceptable as historical material.

Preface II to “Six Poems”
(April 27, 1962)
These six poems were hummed on horseback between 1929 and 1931, and had been completely forgotten. The comrades from the editorial department of People’s Literature collected them and sent them to me, asking to publish them. I have slightly revised them and thus submit them.
