Amendments to the “Resolution of the Enlarged Working Conference of the CPC Central Committee on Comrade Liu Shaoqi’s Report (Draft)” [1] (February 1962) I. The Enlarged Central Working Conference thoroughly discussed Comrade Liu Shaoqi’s report delivered on behalf of the Central Committee at this meeting, as well as the speeches made by Comrade Mao Zedong and several other members of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee. All comrades attending the conference fully agreed with the analysis in the report and these speeches of both the international and domestic situations, with their assessment of the great achievements and the principal shortcomings and errors in the work of the past four years, and with their summary of the basic experiences and lessons learned from these four years of work. They also fully endorsed the main tasks facing the entire Party at present and the goals for future endeavor set forth in the report and these speeches. II. The conference unanimously held that the policy proposed by the Central Committee to strengthen centralization and unity, to reinforce and restore democratic centralism, and to oppose decentralism is most timely and entirely correct.
