Letter to Zang Kejia [1]
(April 24, 1961)

Comrade Kejia:

I have received your letter and the attached article. There is no hurry about this matter. It would be best to wait until I return to Beijing and discuss it in person before making a decision. I have quite a few things I would like to talk with you about.

Wishing you vigor and progress!

Mao Zedong
April 24, Hangzhou

[1] Zang Kejia, then serving as Secretary of the Secretariat of the Chinese Writers Association and Editor-in-Chief of Poetry.
