Modification of a Telegram Draft[1]
(October 22, 1960)
Wishing you new victories in the struggle to further strengthen the unity of revolutionary forces, to defend and advance the revolution, under the leadership of the heroic leader Fidel Castro[2], and in the struggle against the forces of aggression and war headed by U.S. imperialism and for the safeguarding of world peace. We want Cuba, not the Yankees! Down with U.S. imperialism! Long live Cuba! Long live the peoples of the twenty Latin American countries!
