[2] Refers to the report of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee to the Central Committee and Mao Zedong on October 3, 1959, regarding the situation of the 11th (Enlarged) Plenary Session of the First Sichuan Provincial Party Committee. The main contents are: (1) In addition to reading documents, listening to reports, and conducting group or joint group discussions, and exposing and criticizing right-leaning ideological activities, the second stage of this enlarged meeting of the Provincial Party Committee also conducted key criticisms at the general meeting, exposing a group of right-leaning opportunists. (2) In early and mid-September, cadre meetings were successively held in various localities, taking the spirit of the Eighth Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee as the guiding principle, specifically discussing and arranging current work, and setting off a new upsurge of opposing right-leaning, boosting morale, increasing production, and practicing strict economy. (3) In order to prevent slackening emotions, the Provincial Party Committee issued instructions before National Day, requiring that the province's national economic plan for this year be guaranteed to be completed ahead of schedule and overfulfilled in the fourth quarter.
