The Indian army at Yaxie'er has run away, ran away on the 26th, under the influence of the fight on the 25th at Migyitun (Migyitun), that is, the Longju area. [1] Refers to the report from the Tibet Military Region of the Chinese People's Liberation Army at 24:00 on September 1, 1959, to the General Staff Department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the reconnaissance of the Indian army at Yaxie'er.

[2] Zhou refers to Zhou Enlai. Chen refers to Chen Yi, then Vice Premier of the State Council and concurrently Minister of Foreign Affairs.

[3] On August 25, 1959, a unit of the Indian armed forces intruded into the Longju area, which belongs to our country's territory, and attacked our border outpost at Majidun (that is, "Migyitun" in Mao Zedong's comment), provoking an armed conflict. Our border defense troops were forced to return fire in self-defense.

[4] Yaxie'er is located at 93°21' east longitude, 28°31' north latitude, is within Chinese territory, and is north of the "McMahon Line."
