Instruction on the Printing and Distribution of the Soviet Union’s
*Political Economy*
*(A Textbook)*
(Third Edition)
(17 June 1959)

Comrade Shangkun [1]:

The print in this book [2] is too small and the volume too heavy. It is now to be divided and bound into five separate booklets. Please have it printed in a large typeface, like that used in the *Internal Reference* published by the New China News Agency or the *Propaganda and Education Developments* issued by the Propaganda Department. Print ?? copies for distribution to the principal leading comrades at the Central Committee level and the provincial, municipal, and regional Party committee levels for their reading. First, send one copy each to members and alternate members of the Central Committee. In addition, please provide me with four copies. Printing is to be completed within one month. Please act at your discretion. And please inform Comrades Shaoqi, Peng Zhen [3], and Enlai.
