Introducing Guangdong's Experience [I]
(10 March 1959)

I received the report from the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, dated 8 March at 24:00 hours, on the afternoon of the 9th. They have decided to convene a six-level cadres conference on 11 March, lasting seven to ten days. Each commune will send five participants, with representation from three levels. It is reported that among the production brigade level representatives, one will represent the well-off brigades and one the poor brigades. Among the five, one person is a wait-and-see faction member. The total number of cadres at the six levels attending the conference will be five thousand. I consider this arrangement appropriate and it may serve as a reference for other localities.
