This year's leap forward development of our national economy has proved the correctness of the Party's entire set of policies: the policy of simultaneous development of industry and agriculture on the basis of giving priority to the development of heavy industry, the policy of simultaneous development of heavy industry and light industry, the policy of taking steel as the key link and achieving an all-round leap forward on the industrial front, the policy of simultaneous development of central industry and local industry, the policy of simultaneous development of large and medium-sized enterprises and small enterprises, the policy of simultaneous use of indigenous methods of production and modern methods of production, and the policy of combining centralized leadership in industry with the launching of vigorous mass movements in industry—in a word, the policy of walking on two legs, not on one leg or one and a half legs. Such an entire set of policies is correct.
