The February 7th Monument and Memorial Hall are located in Wuhan. Built in 1958, they were erected to commemorate the 51 martyrs, including Lin Xiangqian, Shi Yang, and others, who died glorious deaths during the revolutionary struggle of the “February 7th” Great Strike led by the Party in February 1923.
On September 16, 1958, Mao Zedong wrote the inscription for the Hubei Monument to the Martyrs of the February 7th Strike:
