[1] These are the agenda items drafted by Mao Zedong for the enlarged meeting of the CPC Central Politburo to be held in Beidaihe. The meeting took place from August 17 to 30, 1958, during which the above seventeen issues were discussed. Resolutions such as “Decision on the 1959 Plan and the Second Five-Year Plan” and “Resolution on Establishing People’s Communes in the Countryside” were adopted.
