Notes added by Liao Luyan to “Several Opinions on Agriculture” [!]
(March 1958)
The management of agriculture and animal husbandry must also be integrated with forestry operations across different regions, encompassing large, medium, and small areas of various types: timber forests, fuelwood and charcoal forests, other economic forests, windbreaks, sand-fixing and moisture-conserving forests, as well as scenic forests. In short, the three sectors—agriculture, forestry, and animal husbandry—should be combined.
