Letter to Yang Kaiying[1]
(February 20, 1958)
Dear Sister Friend:
I have received your letter and am very pleased. You are now married and your health has improved; I offer you my congratulations. It seems to have been in 1956 when Comrade Hu Jiemin[2] told me that you were both poor and ill. At that time, I wrote you a letter[3] and also sent you a small sum of money. I wonder whether you received it? I am doing well. Jiang Qing is slightly unwell. Thank you for your kind regards. I wish you continued dedication to serving the people while taking good care of your health. Please also convey my best wishes to Comrade Li[4]!
