To Comrade Zhang Hanfu III:
Regarding the “Statement”
On page 4, item 121, one character has been revised to 131. Please promptly inform the Premier; I would be grateful!

--- Notes

Refers to the Joint Statement that the governments of the People’s Republic of China and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea were preparing to sign on February 19, 1958.

While reviewing the Joint Statement between the two governments, Mao Zedong changed the character “mo” in the phrase “The Asian–African Peoples’ Solidarity Conference held not long ago has played an enormous role in strengthening and developing the solidarity of the Asian and African peoples against imperialism and colonialism” to “hen.”
